About Dry Pants Model Yacht CLub
We are a group who enjoy racing model sailing yachts and the fellowship of those interested in the sport. We are a recognized fleet by the American Model Yacht Association.
CR-914 and Dragon Flite 95 are the primary boats we sail. We also have our social side with a picnic and winter get togethers. The DPMYC is a very active organization with an average of 10-20 boats racing on Sunday and Wednesday mornings. Major regattas draw attendance in excess of 20 boats from around the nation. Our Primary boats are the CR-914 and the Dragon Flite 95. A number of our members often sail other assorted classes as well on “Open Sailing Wednesdays”

We sail every Sunday and Wednesday (with some holiday exceptions) unless the temperature is below 38 degrees or there is ice on the pond.
